Counseling

Journey Together Counseling Services offers a wide range of services and each of our clinicians brings a different set of specialties and skills to the practice. We utilize different theories and modalities, such as person-centered therapy, CBT, mindfulness, strengths-based approaches, trauma informed therapy, and attachment theory. Check out the counselors page to see who may be the best fit for you. We offer the following services, which vary by therapist, and many more:

  • Individual counseling for teens and adults

  • Premarital, couples, and marriage counseling

  • Group counseling opportunities for varying topics

  • Depression

  • Anxiety and stress

  • Addiction, substance misuse, and recovery

  • Grief, loss, and other life transitions

  • LGBTQ+ affirming care

  • Trauma and PTSD

  • Other mood and thought disorders

Initial intake sessions last 60 minutes and are all about information gathering. We will discuss your personal, family, medical, and mental health history, as well as the primary concerns bringing you to counseling. From there, we will determine the best direction for therapy, also known as a treatment plan, to guide our time together.

Follow-up appointments last from 45-60 minutes and are set up at a frequency that meets your needs and schedule.
